No army of City Dwellers would consider venturing forth without a contingent of aristocratic cavalry to strike hard and fast and to show the "hoi-polloi" who is boss!!!
At the request of certain aristocrats from the Holheem's palace, we have gone a little further into the realms of kits and options with our royal cavalry.
The officer has a separate scabbard for his sword. Assuming he is not the type to toss the scabbard away after he draws his weapon, you can attach it to his belt, projecting high and proud. He also comes with a holstered pistol, useful if he is one of the type who believes in the usefulness and rightness of such things.
The rank and file lancer is even more complicated. He comes with an assortment of heads when you purchase the bag. After all, what aristocrat wants HIS helmet to look like everyone else's helmets. Of course, if you want, you can use helmet styles to distinguish particular squadrons on the table top. The CDRC-2, which is the Royal Mounted Lancer comes with a separate random picked head in the bag.
He has a scabbarded sword as a back-up weapon. For his lance, we have provided a lance head and left his hand open to receive an ever so slim and elegant wire or brass rod lance shaft.

The nomads of the barren places are renowned for their skill as cavalry. Indeed, they disdain fighting on foot. Many holheems, either through pay or ancient alliances, can call upon nomads to provide cavalry troops to their legions.
Some of the nomads come with open hands and a choice of weapons. The Nomad Leader is by Special Order located on the Special Order page.

These are the true shaven-headed fanatics. Armed with their Martian swords and firm belief that the old ways are the true ways, they are prepared to drive all Earthmen from their planet with fire and blood.

Sepoy units, equipped with Earth weapons and dressed in a mixture of Earth uniform and Martian accoutrements, were eventually raised by all of the great powers after the downfall of the Cephalids. These City Dweller troops are not always the most reliable troops, but they are indispensable for expanding and policing your expanding Martian interests.
